The Manx Heart Foundation has been an Isle of Man Registered Charity (#293) since 2008 but has been active on the Island for many years prior to that. We were formally named the British Heart Foundation Isle of Man but took the view that as ALL our fundraising STAYS on the Isle of Man, our name should reflect that. So - we are now proudly the MANX HEART FOUNDATION.
Despite, the name change, our mission has always been to help enable the best cardiac care possible for the Manx residents through fundraising enabling us to purchase vital cardiac equipment for Nobles Hospital and beyond.
We have a small group of trustee committed to variety of fund raising activities which currently include a Golf Tournament, Bridge Tournament, and Tennis Tournament.
Our trustees are:
John Bourbon, Chair
Dr Sarah Whetstone, Vice-Chair
Barry Smith, Secretary
John Newman, Treasurer
Dr Mark Hall
